Glass Bead Making You will learn to make georgeous glass beads, using a propane torch. Making beads is fun and exciting. It's also addicting and you may find yourself forgetting to cook dinner, so be careful.

Intermediate Torch Beads 201 Now that you have had time to practice, take your beginner beads to the next level. We’ll spend lots of time decorating with frit, reactive colors, stringers and murrine. A few new shapes and surprises will be introduced as well. Bring all your tools and 2 cans of MAPP gas, we’ll supply the rest. Wear cotton clothing, safety glasses and closed toe shoes.

Fused Fish Wind Chime *NEW !* Whether you’re new to FUSING or a seasoned pro, you’ll enjoy this 2 part workshop. In our 1st session we will cut and decorate our school of fish! Leave them for us to fuse, and in our 2nd workshop you will assemble your new wind chime!

The class descriptions below show just some of the projects available. Since the possibilities for glass fusing are endless, we are coming up with new projects all the time. Beginning Fusing 101 - It all starts here!!
In this fun & hands on class, you will learn the basics of the fusing process. We will begin with safety, compatibility, and theory. We will introduce you to several types of kilns and by the end of the session you will have completed several projects that may include a pendant, tile, small dish, sun catcher, or even a picture frame. Get ready to have a great time, bring your glass cutter, glass breaking tools and safety glasses. All materials are included, even some Dichroic glass to play with!

Fused Iridescent Plate
We’ve added this one to the schedule after being asked so many times how to duplicate the gorgeous plate Jo Anna made exclusively for the shop. Create a gorgeous, modern design, made entirely of Iridescent Fused Glass.

Fused Millefiori Jewelry
Ever wonder how those clever Italians turn those tiny glass flowers into beautiful pendants, pins and earrings? We’ll show you how to use authentic Millefiori to create your own unique designs.

Fused Glass Jewelry
You will learn how to fuse layers of glass into beautiful cabochons, earrings, and bracelets as well as several ways to mount and display them. Learn several techniques that will take your jewelry to a professional level. All materials and firings included.

Stamping Fused Glass Tiles
This is a new and completely unique rubber stamping technique, to be used in combination with fused glass. This technique can be applied in endless ways. Add fused stamped additions to your stained glass panels, mosaics, and decorative items for completely unique art!

Hot Frit Fusing
This exciting workshop teaches a new fusible technique similar to the look of cloisonnÈ. Learn to create beautiful glass pictures using an outline of liquid glass and colorful fills of various glass frits and powders. All materials and kiln firings are included.

Fused Stringer Bowl
Imagine making a bowl or dish entirely out of glass stringers! This fun workshop will teach you the secrets to creating your own unique stringer design. Bring safety glasses. No previous glass experience required. Includes all materials and 2 kiln firings. Bring mosaic glass cutter.

Workshop Policies (The fine print)
There must be at least 3 individuals signed-up for a workshop in order for that workshop to commence.
Workshop fees are due in full upon signing-up for the workshop. At that time, you will receive a pattern, if necessary, and an instruction sheet.
In the event fewer than 3 individuals sign-up for a workshop, you will be notified and a "Workshop Fee Credit" will be issued. Workshop Fee Credits may be used towards other workshop fees or studio time. Credits are valid for six months from date of issue.
Workshop fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
